P&G Expands AI and Automation Deployment, Fueling Sales Growth
Procter & Gamble, or P&G, is building on years of investment in data and automation by integrating AI content creation, analytics tools for frontline employees, its Molecular Discovery Suite and unattended night shifts into its operations. The technologies connect consumer insights, product development and manufacturing, showing that P&G's technology investment has moved beyond experimentation to transformation at scale.
P&G reported fiscal third-quarter results on April 24, 2026, with net sales of $21.2 billion, up 7% year on year, and organic sales growth of 3%. Volume and pricing contributed 2 and 1 percentage points, respectively. Unattended automated shifts now span nine major categories. In Germany, Pantene used AI marketing to triple its reach while cutting media spending by one-fifth.
