Analyst Backs Arista's AI Networking Push, Sees Google as Potential Major Customer

1 reports · First detected 2026-04-08 · Last active 2026-04-08

Arista Networks is a leading supplier of Ethernet networking equipment for AI data centers and has long served hyperscale cloud providers including Meta Platforms and Microsoft. In March 2026, it introduced XPO, a high-density pluggable optics solution designed to ease cooling, power and space constraints in large AI clusters. Winning Google as a customer would be key to broadening Arista's client base and expanding its share of the AI networking market.

On April 7, 2026, Rosenblatt Securities analyst Mike Genovese upgraded Arista to Buy from Neutral and raised his price target to $180 from $165. The new target was about 42% above the April 6 closing price of $126.25. Citing $5.4 billion in deferred revenue and Arista's strong share of spending at Meta and Microsoft, he expects Google to become a new customer in 2026 and revenue growth to approach 40% in both 2026 and 2027.
