FNBO to Buy Denver’s InBankshares for $200 Million
First National Bank of Omaha, known as FNBO, is accelerating its westward expansion through acquisitions, targeting Denver-based InBankshares to deepen its presence in Colorado. The deal would significantly broaden FNBO’s reach in the southern part of the state, underscoring how regional banks are using consolidation to add customers, branches and geographic scale in competitive local markets.
FNBO agreed to acquire InBankshares in an all-cash transaction valued at about $200 million, marking the Omaha bank’s second M&A agreement since June 2026. The companies expect to complete the transaction in the second half of 2027. Once closed, the acquisition is set to give FNBO a substantially larger foothold across southern Colorado’s financial-services market.
