AI Server Demand Pushes Wistron's Seven-Month Revenue Past Full-Year Total
Wistron, a major electronics contract manufacturer and server supplier, has made AI servers and high-performance computing products central to its growth strategy. Demand has accelerated as global cloud service providers expand AI infrastructure and deploy more advanced computing capacity. The shift is important because servers have become a key revenue engine for the Taiwan-based company, underpinning expectations for stronger performance in the second half.
Wistron reported consolidated revenue of NT$308.219 billion in July, holding above NT$300 billion for a second consecutive month. Revenue for January through July reached NT$2.05 trillion, already exceeding the company's total for all of last year. With shipments of AI servers and high-performance computing products continuing to ramp up, Wistron expects operations to improve sequentially through the second half as cloud providers maintain investment in AI infrastructure.
