2025 Survey Reveals Shifts in Taiwan’s Fund and ETF Investing

2 reports · First detected 2026-04-30 · Last active 2026-05-19

ETFs have evolved from investment products into mainstream asset-allocation tools in Taiwan because they are easy to trade, offer transparent fees and cover a wide range of assets. The Securities Investment Trust and Consulting Association surveyed fund and ETF investment behavior in 2025 to examine how investors select products and obtain information. The findings also reflect an important turning point as financial services become increasingly digital.

The association’s latest survey identified three major market trends and five shifts in investment behavior. ETF adoption has broadened, while investing has moved markedly toward digital and mobile channels. Public awareness of AI-powered wealth-management tools also increased in 2025, but most investors still preferred a hybrid model in which AI supports analysis and human advisers exercise judgment, rather than a fully automated service.
