Pudgy Penguins Ends Pudgy Party Development to Focus on Pudgy World

Pudgy Penguins is a Web3 project that built its brand around NFT characters and licensed merchandise before expanding into gaming in recent years. Pudgy Party targets mobile devices, while Pudgy World is its flagship browser game. Ending development of the former reflects the team’s decision to concentrate resources and realign its Web3 gaming and brand ecosystem.

Pudgy Penguins recently announced that it would halt further development of Pudgy Party and consolidate the associated resources into Pudgy World. Since its August 2025 launch, Pudgy Party has surpassed 1 million downloads across platforms. Despite attracting a sizable user base, the project has decided to scale back its mobile gaming efforts and shift its development focus to its flagship product.
