ADP Launches AI Agent Hub to Accelerate Payroll and Back-Office Transformation
ADP has long provided payroll, human resources and tax services to more than 1.1 million business clients. As generative AI evolves from answering questions to carrying out tasks autonomously, traditional rules-based back-office functions such as payroll processing are shifting toward AI agents capable of real-time analysis, planning and cross-system execution. The transition could reshape operational efficiency and workforce allocation.
ADP recently added a dedicated AI Agent hub to ADP Marketplace, bringing together intelligent software that can autonomously plan and complete multistep tasks. The hub allows more than 1.1 million business clients to deploy the technology in payroll and back-office workflows. ADP did not disclose an exact launch date, investment amount or the number of agents initially available, but the move shows that the company has incorporated agentic AI into its enterprise services ecosystem.
