Robert Kiyosaki Predicts 2026 Economic Collapse, Recommends Bitcoin as a Hedge
In 1974, the United States established the “petrodollar” system for oil trading in U.S. dollars and enacted the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, or ERISA, to strengthen corporate pension plans. Kiyosaki believes both structures are now under pressure from dollar depreciation, energy conflicts and the retirement of baby boomers, potentially amplifying global inflation and pension risks.
Robert Kiyosaki, author of “Rich Dad Poor Dad,” recently renewed his warning that structural problems dating to 1974 will come to a head in 2026 and could even trigger a global economic collapse. He recommends holding gold, silver and Bitcoin as hedges but offered no investment amount, asset-allocation ratio or Bitcoin price target. His remarks remain a personal market forecast.
