Multifi, Pinegap and Rivo Secure Fresh Fintech Funding
Fintech investors are directing capital toward narrowly defined financial workflows, from revolving credit for small businesses to artificial-intelligence tools for investment analysts and automated cash management. Multifi lends to UK SMEs through its Flexi Credit facility, Pinegap builds AI agents for institutional buy-side research, and Rivo sweeps idle checking-account balances into higher-yielding US Treasuries through Jiko. The group shows funding moving beyond broad consumer apps toward specialist products offering measurable savings, productivity or liquidity benefits.
The Aug. 7 roundup put Multifi at the top of disclosed deals. Fintex Capital provided £15 million after the lender extended more than £40 million to UK businesses; Multifi aims to supply over £100 million in SME debt within three years. Stellaris Venture Partners led Pinegap’s $8 million Series A, joined by Inventus, Silicon Valley Quad and DeVC. Rivo exited beta with $3.1 million from South Park Commons, Wisdom Ventures, Script Capital, 645 Ventures, 20VC and Jag Duggal. Ripple and Humain made undisclosed investments in Licuido and Mozn, while Amex Ventures backed Pie after its $19.5 million June Series A.
