Anchorage Digital Adds Tron Custody and TRX Trading for Institutions

1 reports · First detected 2026-03-27 · Last active 2026-03-27

Anchorage Digital is a U.S. federally chartered crypto bank that provides digital-asset infrastructure to institutions including banks and asset managers. Its integration with Tron gives U.S. institutions a regulated channel to hold and trade the blockchain’s native TRX token. It lowers the barriers associated with managing private keys and compliance procedures while creating a bridge for traditional financial institutions to participate in the Tron ecosystem.

Anchorage Digital announced support for the Tron blockchain in July 2026, initially offering compliant TRX custody and trading services to institutional clients. The two parties did not disclose the value of the partnership or the amount of assets involved. Future integration is expected to cover TRC-20 tokens including USDT and add native TRX staking, broadening institutions’ options for asset allocation and yield management on Tron.

Anchorage Digital Expands Tron Support With Institutional TRX Staking2026-07-15 · 1 reports · similarity 0.87

Digital asset custodian Anchorage Digital received a charter from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) in 2021, becoming the country’s first federally chartered crypto bank. It has long provided regulated custody and staking services to institutional clients. Tron is the main settlement network for USDT, the world’s largest stablecoin, and has more stablecoins in circulation than any other public blockchain. Institutions seeking Tron staking rewards previously often had to move assets out of custody, raising security and compliance concerns.

Anchorage Digital recently announced native TRX staking for institutional clients, allowing them to stake and earn network rewards directly through its custody platform or from self-custody wallets without moving assets outside the custody framework. The company said the expanded Tron support responds to growing institutional demand for regulated staking services and the Tron settlement ecosystem. TRX is now the latest asset added to its institutional staking lineup.
