TJR Faces Allegations Over Trading Record, Courses and Crypto Promotions

U.S. trading influencer TJR, whose real name is Tyler Riches, built an audience of millions around day-trading content, paid communities and training products. The dispute matters because his public trading record underpins the credibility of a business selling financial education to inexperienced followers, including young viewers. On March 16, 2026, Taiwan-based ChainNews reported that trading YouTuber ImanTrading had published an investigation alleging private messages, trading records and on-chain data contradicted parts of TJR’s public narrative. The video said the Mastermind course was marketed to 30 students with one-on-one coaching but enrolled more than 500; at $4,000 each, implied revenue could reach $2 million. It also alleged TJR charged as much as $45,000 for token promotions and that associated wallets bought before promotion and sold afterward, while some promoted tokens later fell more than 90%.
