Synchrony Launches Small-Business Interview Series on Shift in Payments and Financing Tools
U.S. consumer financial services company Synchrony has launched an interview series titled “Small Business. Big Advantage,” examining how small and micro businesses can improve operations through flexible payments, modern credit tools and data-driven decision-making. Its central premise is that financing has evolved from a back-office support function into a competitive advantage at the point of sale, directly affecting conversion rates, customer experience and cash flow.
The latest episode, titled “Payments Alone No Longer Cut It for Small Businesses,” argues that payment processing alone is no longer enough for businesses to compete and must be combined with credit and data tools. Synchrony has not disclosed the series’ exact launch date, investment amount or number of participating businesses. For now, the focus is on building the case for integrating payments and financing.
