icash Pay, E.SUN Bank Offer Tax-Payment Rewards of Up to 6%
May is the main filing and payment period for Taiwan’s individual income and house taxes, giving mobile-payment providers an opportunity to expand the use of their services for tax payments. icash Pay, operated by icash Corp., has teamed up with E.SUN Bank to turn tax bills, which generally earn no standard credit-card rewards, into an opportunity to earn OPENPOINT points and encourage taxpayers to pay online.
Under a promotional offer for May tax payments, users who link an eligible E.SUN credit card to icash Pay, pay individual income or house tax online and meet the campaign’s spending threshold can receive up to 6% back in OPENPOINT points. E.SUN Bank is separately offering rewards of up to 0.4% on credit-card tax payments and several installment-payment options.
