Binance Co-Founders Used ‘Homer’ and ‘Marge’ Aliases Internally

Binance co-founders Changpeng “CZ” Zhao and Yi He used the names “Homer” and “Marge,” characters from The Simpsons, as aliases in internal company meetings. Former employees recently disclosed that Zhao and He were referred to internally as Homer and Marge, respectively. He, now a co-chief executive officer of Binance, continues to use “Marge” in meetings and internal communications, according to the reports. The accounts did not specify when the aliases were first adopted, cite any financial amount connected to the practice, or indicate that their use had a direct operational impact on the exchange.
