FE fundinfo Upgrades Global Fund Registration Service
Fund registration becomes increasingly complex as asset managers distribute products across multiple jurisdictions, with requests, documents and status updates often scattered among emails, spreadsheets and phone calls. FE fundinfo’s Global Fund Registration (GFR) service supports the compliance workflow, while its Nexus for Investment Managers platform connects product data with registration, regulatory-document production, dissemination and distribution. Centralizing those processes can improve deadline control, auditability and internal reporting while reducing operational risk for investment managers and management companies, or ManCos.
FE fundinfo said on Sept. 17, 2026, that it had enhanced GFR inside Nexus, giving clients a single view of the lifecycle from initial registration requests through audit. Users can monitor sub-fund and share-class changes, register umbrella funds in additional countries, access documents, track day-specific deadlines, and download histories and status reports. The existing service supports more than 100 GFR clients and registrations across over 75 jurisdictions. The company is rolling out the upgrade to current clients and demonstrating it to prospective managers; no transaction or investment amount was disclosed.

The history behind this eventFE fundinfo Accelerates Nexus Adviser Platform Rollout
Financial data and technology provider FE fundinfo is accelerating development of Nexus, a platform designed to reduce the administrative burden on financial advisers. The service brings AI assistance, automated reporting and data workflows into one environment, targeting time lost when advisers move information between disconnected systems. The initiative is significant as wealth-management firms seek to improve productivity while allowing advisers to devote more attention to clients.
FE fundinfo said it would increase investment in Nexus and introduce more than 25 new features by the end of 2026. The planned rollout includes AI-powered assistance and automated report generation aimed at simplifying data processing and improving operating efficiency. The company did not disclose the amount of the additional investment, but said the expanded functionality would help advisers spend less time transferring and reconciling information across multiple systems.
