C.C.P. Enters AI Server Supply Chain, Targets 40% Semiconductor Revenue Share

C.C.P. Contact Probes Co., a Taiwan-based maker of test probes and precision connectors, has been expanding beyond its traditional products into semiconductor testing. The shift comes as AI servers and advanced processors require faster signal transmission, more sophisticated packaging and increasingly demanding test interfaces. C.C.P. is applying its semiconductor probe manufacturing technology to high-frequency terminals while developing consumables used in advanced chip testing, broadening its exposure to the AI hardware supply chain.

C.C.P. said on Sept. 3, 2026 that its high-frequency terminal, developed using a semiconductor test-probe process, had passed customer validation and entered the supply chain for next-generation AI servers. Shipments are expected to begin about three months before completed server racks are delivered. The company is also jointly developing MEMS probes and probe-card cleaning paper with major semiconductor customers, with commercial contributions expected in 2027. It aims to lift semiconductor-related products above 40% of revenue next year. Revenue for the first seven months of 2026 reached NT$2.69 billion, up 36% from a year earlier.
