Evlo Adopts Moneyline’s MoneyToolkit to Advance Financial Inclusion in Commercial Lending
UK non-prime lender Evlo serves customers who struggle to access mainstream credit. Its data show that 20.2 million people across the UK are underserved by financial services, one-third of adults cannot access mainstream credit, and another 5.6 million are “credit invisible.” Providing safe, non-borrowing support after a loan rejection therefore remains a significant gap in financial inclusion and consumer protection.
Evlo announced on June 23, 2026, that it had become the first commercial lender to adopt MoneyToolkit from nonprofit community finance provider Moneyline; the related report was published on July 2. The free tool is integrated into Evlo’s digital loan application process, allowing rejected applicants to check their eligibility for benefits and grants and access budgeting tools and personalized guidance. The value of the partnership was not disclosed. The platform previously won the “Eureka” award at the UK Financial Conduct Authority’s financial inclusion tech sprint.
