Adobe's May Security Updates Fix Flaws in Adobe Commerce and Nine Other Products

Adobe issues routine security updates each month, and this round also covers tools including the Content Authenticity SDK, reflecting the need to protect generative-content verification systems and enterprise applications.
Adobe released May updates for 10 applications, including Adobe Commerce and the Content Authenticity SDK, fixing 52 vulnerabilities in total. Adobe Commerce accounted for 15 of the flaws. The company urged users to prioritize those fixes to reduce the serious risk of attackers executing arbitrary code or causing denial-of-service disruptions.

Adobe Commerce is Adobe’s enterprise e-commerce platform, built on Magento technology and used for store operations, payment processing and customer data. If exploited, the vulnerabilities could allow privilege escalation or security-control bypasses, making them a higher patching priority than ordinary application flaws.
Adobe issued security updates in March covering eight of its application systems and fixing 80 vulnerabilities in total, including several critical-severity flaws. The company specifically urged users to prioritize issues including PolyShell in Adobe Commerce and Magento. IT administrators should deploy the official patches as soon as possible.
