Nvidia and LG Deepen Physical AI Partnership With Robot Data Factory

1 reports · First detected 2026-08-18 · Last active 2026-08-18

Nvidia and LG Electronics are expanding their physical AI partnership to accelerate the development of humanoid robots. The effort combines Nvidia’s Omniverse and Isaac platforms with LG’s robotics capabilities, using simulated and real-world data to train, test and validate machines before deployment. The project underscores intensifying competition in embodied AI, as technology and manufacturing groups seek robots capable of navigating and performing tasks in physical environments.

Nvidia executive Madison Huang recently visited LG Electronics’ robotics facility in Seoul as the companies advanced construction of a robot data factory scheduled to begin operations by the end of 2026. The facility will collect and validate training data for humanoid robots and incorporate Nvidia’s physical AI technologies. LG plans to use the partnership to support a next-generation bipedal humanoid robot targeted for release in 2027.
