inKind Raises $414 Million to Expand Restaurant Commerce Platform
inKind operates a restaurant commerce platform that provides operators with upfront capital while connecting them with diners through prepaid spending, financial tools and customer rewards. The company is also building AI-native capabilities for restaurant partners. Its model is significant in an industry marked by thin margins and limited access to conventional financing, combining capital provision with technology designed to generate customer demand and strengthen restaurant economics.
The company said on Aug. 10, 2026, that it completed an oversubscribed $414 million financing, taking total capital raised since inception to more than $1.2 billion. inKind plans to use the proceeds to expand its network of restaurants and diners, broaden its financial products and accelerate development of AI-native tools. The transaction gives the platform additional resources to scale its role linking high-quality restaurants with engaged dining customers.
