Fubon Multimedia Technology's Momo is making AI a core part of its infrastructure as it navigates pressure to expand its e-commerce business and cut delivery-related carbon emissions. The company is connecting targeted advertising and product recommendations with operations at its northern and Kaohsiung logistics centers to improve conversion rates and order-processing efficiency. The effort is also intended to strengthen the competitiveness of its membership program, direct-to-consumer brand business and online store platform.

Momo General Manager Ku Yuan-hung recently said the platform processes more than 10 million orders in a single quarter. It is already using AI to improve automated delivery and dispatch efficiency at its northern and Kaohsiung logistics centers and has introduced large language models to enhance customer service. The next phase will expand the external uses of its moCoin rewards currency, but Momo has not disclosed the investment amount or an exact launch date.
