Sony Unveils Lower-Cost Bravia 6 OLED TV With Gemini

1 reports · First detected 2026-08-28 · Last active 2026-08-28

Sony has largely concentrated its OLED television lineup at the premium end of the market, leaving Samsung and LG with broader offerings for midrange buyers. The Bravia 6 is designed to close that gap with a lower-cost entry that retains Sony’s picture processing and gaming features while extending the company’s presence in a segment where OLED adoption is becoming more mainstream.

Sony has unveiled the Bravia 6 OLED series in screen sizes ranging from 48 inches to 83 inches, positioning it against midrange models from Samsung and LG. The televisions feature 120Hz panels and four HDMI 2.1 ports, specifications aimed partly at console gamers. They also run Google TV with Gemini integration, adding AI-assisted content discovery, voice interaction and connected-device controls.
