Rezolv Raises $12.5 Million to Scale AI-Led Lending Automation

1 reports · First detected 2026-08-21 · Last active 2026-08-21

Mumbai-based Rezolv, founded by former Kissht co-founders Karan Mehta and Sonali Jindal, sells lending software to banks and non-bank financial companies, with debt collection as its initial focus. The company is expanding into an AI-native platform spanning customer acquisition, risk assessment, underwriting and recovery. The push matters as India’s fast-growing digital credit market forces lenders to manage larger loan books while controlling delinquencies, operating costs and compliance risks.

Rezolv said on Aug. 18, 2026, it raised $12.5 million in a Series A round led by Norwest, with participation from Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India and existing investor 3one4 Capital. The funding will deepen automation across the lending lifecycle and support further platform expansion. Rezolv serves more than 22 banks and non-bank lenders in India, while its systems cover over 12 million loan accounts and process 6.5 million minutes of borrower conversations each month.
