AI Security Startup Armadin Teams With CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks to Counter Advanced AI Threats
Founded in 2025 by Mandiant founder Kevin Mandia, Armadin is an AI-native offensive cybersecurity company. On March 10, 2026, it announced $189.9 million in seed and Series A funding. As Anthropic’s Mythos and OpenAI’s GPT-Cyber accelerate vulnerability discovery, exploit chaining and attack-code development, companies have less time to defend themselves, making red-team exercises increasingly important.
On April 30, 2026, Armadin announced partnerships with CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks; financial terms were not disclosed. Armadin Red connects with Falcon to test internal infrastructure, identities and endpoints. It also integrates with Unit 42 Frontier AI Defense, using more than 50,000 templates to simulate external attacks, compress attack workflows from days to minutes and provide remediation guidance.

As of July 20, 2026, Armadin had raised a combined $190 million across its seed and Series A rounds, setting a fundraising record for an early-stage cybersecurity company. The funds will be used to expand its platform and team and enhance its AI agents’ ability to simulate and validate automated attacks. Available information did not disclose the amount raised in each round, the investors or the actual closing dates.
