Multiplier Raises $6 Million to Build AI for Asset Managers
Multiplier, formerly known as WithAI, is building AI agent infrastructure for asset managers that can be deployed inside a client’s own systems and tailored to its data, workflows and investment style. The company is targeting a gap between fragmented finance software and costly in-house AI development. Its approach matters because investment firms want agents to use proprietary research and decision histories without exposing the information that underpins their competitive edge.
On Aug. 26, 2026, Multiplier announced a $6 million seed round led by Lux Capital, with backing from Y Combinator, GoAhead Ventures, Rebel Fund, General Advance, Unpopular Ventures and Amino Capital. Individual investors included Bridgewater Associates co-CIOs Greg Jensen and Karen Karniol-Tambour, Fortress Investment Group Chairman Pete Briger and DeepMind Chief Strategy Officer Jasjeet Sekhon. Multiplier said the funding would support its push to become an operating system for investors.
