Binance Bahrain Renews ISO Certifications, Bolstering Security and Compliance Credentials

Binance Bahrain is a crypto-asset service platform regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain. ISO/IEC 27001 covers information security management, while ISO/IEC 27701 extends those standards to privacy information management. As the crypto industry faces tighter regulatory scrutiny, maintaining both certifications helps demonstrate that its user data protection and risk control systems remain effective.

Binance Bahrain announced on May 19, 2026, that it had renewed its ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 certifications. The audit was conducted by cybersecurity compliance company A-LIGN, which serves more than 4,000 organizations. The certification body is accredited by both the ANSI National Accreditation Board in the United States and the United Kingdom Accreditation Service, confirming that the platform's information security and privacy management systems meet the relevant standards.
