AWS Unveils Two AI Agent Services to Strengthen Data Understanding and Security

1 reports · First detected 2026-06-18 · Last active 2026-06-18

As companies move generative AI agents from trials into production, the challenge extends beyond model capabilities. Agents must understand connections across databases, documents and business rules while operating securely under access controls. Amazon Web Services (AWS) therefore views data context and security governance as two foundations for deployment at scale.

AWS unveiled AWS Context and AWS Continuum at its New York summit on June 17, 2026. Context can automatically map existing data and rules into a governed knowledge graph but is still listed as “coming soon.” Continuum continuously discovers, validates and prioritizes code vulnerabilities and helps remediate them; it is currently available in a limited preview. AWS did not disclose pricing or investment figures for either service.
