CTBC Investments Launches Taiwan-Japan-Korea PCB ETF to Tap AI Supply Chain
Spending on artificial-intelligence servers and data centers is boosting demand for advanced printed circuit boards, ABF substrates and upstream materials used in high-performance computing systems. CTBC Investments is launching a thematic exchange-traded fund spanning Taiwan, Japan and South Korea, aiming to give investors exposure to Asian component makers positioned to benefit as global cloud operators increase AI capital expenditure.
The CTBC Taiwan-Japan-Korea PCB ETF, trading under ticker 009828, is scheduled to begin its initial offering on Aug. 17. The fund will track the NYSE TIP Taiwan-Japan-Korea PCB Index and include companies such as Taiwan Union Technology, Ibiden and Nitto Denko. Its portfolio targets leaders in advanced PCB manufacturing, ABF substrates and critical materials, focusing on demand generated by upgrades to AI computing infrastructure.
