Meta Holds MBBRC in Taiwan for First Time, Targets AI Agent Security and NVIDIA Collaboration

Meta’s MBBRC is a key event connecting the security research community with its bug bounty program, and it was held in Taipei for the first time in 2026. As generative AI evolves from chat tools into AI agents capable of performing tasks autonomously, the attack surface has expanded to include frameworks, access controls and systemic abuse, drawing greater attention to security risks.

Meta held MBBRC in Taipei in July 2026 and announced rewards of up to $300,000 per case for vulnerabilities in AI agent frameworks and systemic abuse. It also launched the “GPU Kernel Module Bug Bounty” program with NVIDIA, extending bug bounty coverage to GPU kernel modules and the AI hardware layer.
