Cathay Financial recently used its annual technology conference to unveil “digital colleagues” powered by AI agents for the first time, with roles spanning project management, technology governance and legal review. Vice Chairman Tsai Tsung-han said the group’s strategy for the next 10 years will focus on highly individualized wealth-management services tailored to each customer, while deploying AI tools to accelerate its corporate-banking transformation and gain ground on competitors.
