Payhawk Taps Flagright for Real-Time Fraud and AML Monitoring
Payhawk provides corporate spend management tools spanning company cards and payment workflows. As businesses transact across more markets and currencies, fraud, money laundering and sanctions risks increasingly overlap, raising the compliance burden on finance teams. The partnership with financial-crime technology provider Flagright is designed to add real-time controls to spending activity rather than relying solely on reviews after transactions have occurred.
Payhawk said it will integrate Flagright’s fraud prevention and anti-money laundering monitoring into its platform, enabling real-time screening of corporate card and payment activity across multiple markets and currencies. The system will also check transactions against sanctions lists, helping finance teams identify suspicious activity and potential compliance breaches. The companies did not disclose the value of the agreement, a specific launch date or the number of markets covered.
