Neno Raises €6.6 Million to Expand AI Accounting Across Europe
Amsterdam-based Neno is targeting a fragmented European market in which more than half of the region’s 26 million small and medium-sized businesses outsource accounting, payroll and tax work. Its AI-native workspace uses a real-time “agentic general ledger” to consolidate data from bank accounts, corporate cards, bill payments and receivables. Neno says the system accelerates reconciliation and VAT preparation while giving accountants a fuller view of clients’ finances in a professional-services market worth about €200 billion annually.
Neno announced on Aug. 25, 2026, that it had raised €6.6 million in a seed round led by New York-based AlleyCorp, with participation from Motive Partners, Firstminute Capital and angel investors. The startup has signed nearly 200 customers since launching in the Netherlands in the first quarter of 2026. It plans to use the proceeds to establish Neno Labs, expand its accounting, tax and go-to-market teams, and prepare to enter additional European markets in 2027.
