David’s Bridal Launches One-Click Wedding Dress Shopping on ChatGPT and Copilot
David’s Bridal is transforming itself from a traditional bridal chain into a digital-first retailer, using its proprietary Pearl platform to organize product attributes such as cut, fabric, neckline, price and inventory. As consumers increasingly use AI conversations to find products, structured data will determine whether brands are recommended accurately. For a high-consideration, high-ticket category such as bridalwear, the initiative is also an important test of whether conversational commerce can shorten the decision-making process.
David’s Bridal announced on April 15, 2026, that it had joined Shopify Agentic Storefronts, making its products available through OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. Users can browse images, prices, ratings, sizes, colors and real-time inventory by silhouette. Products range from under $200 to more than $2,000, and shoppers can complete purchases within the conversation using a buy button.
