Binance Plans FCA License Bid for UK Relaunch by 2027
Binance has faced restrictions on its UK operations since 2021, limiting the crypto services available to local customers. Britain is preparing a new regulatory framework for digital assets, requiring platforms seeking access to one of the world’s leading financial markets to secure approval from the Financial Conduct Authority and comply with rules covering consumer protection, governance and financial promotions.
Binance is reportedly planning to apply for an FCA license as the new regime approaches, laying the groundwork for a return to the UK market. If the application and regulatory timetable proceed as expected, the exchange could resume offering crypto-related services to British residents before 2027. The filing date, planned product range and outcome of any FCA review have not yet been confirmed.
