PNC’s Demchak Leads Bank CEO Pay Raises in 2025

The analysis found that total compensation for the bank CEOs surveyed rose an average 12.5% in 2025. PNC Financial Services Group CEO Bill Demchak received the most prominent increase, with his pay climbing to $35 million from $25 million in 2024. The $10 million gain represented a 40% raise, placing Demchak at the top of the year’s pay-increase rankings among big-bank chief executives.
