Reem Finance Secures License and Formally Transforms Into Reem Bank
Reem Finance was a financing services provider in the United Arab Emirates and part of IHC's financial services platform, Judan Financial Holding. After securing a community banking license from the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE), it entered the regulated banking sector. It became the first and currently only UAE finance company to complete such an upgrade, marking a milestone for the country's digital finance development.
On May 4, 2026, Reem Finance announced that it had formally begun operating as Reem Bank, focusing on embedded finance and Banking-as-a-Service for individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises, fintech companies and digital wallets. The board appointed Sara Al Binali as CEO. The company has nearly 300,000 customers, while its parent platform, Judan Financial, manages more than AED 870 billion, or about $235 billion, in assets.
