SinoPac Securities Launches FengGuWu Platform to Digitize Shareholder Gift Claims
Shareholders in Taiwan have long relied on paper notices and in-person services to claim annual-meeting gifts, making it easy to miss collection deadlines if documents are lost or information is not checked in time. In line with Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation’s push to digitize shareholder services, SinoPac Securities has built FengGuWu as a one-stop platform that moves notices, dividend-payment account details and gift management online, reducing paperwork and travel costs.
SinoPac Securities recently announced the launch of FengGuWu, which allows shareholders to request replacement meeting notices, change bank accounts for cash-dividend payments and review gift information from multiple companies online. Eligible users can also receive an exclusive digital stock gift card. The service involves no investment amount or fee, and reports did not disclose a specific launch date. Its primary aim is to make shareholder services paperless.
