PNC Names Christian Winward as Chief Information Security Officer

PNC said on July 30, 2026, that it hired FirstBank veteran Christian Winward as chief information security officer. Winward will be responsible for the group’s information-security architecture and cybersecurity risk management, giving him oversight of defenses across the organization. The appointment underscores how established lenders are elevating cyber risk within senior management.
