AWS Partners With Superblocks on Private-Cloud Vibe Coding

1 reports · First detected 2026-08-04 · Last active 2026-08-04

Vibe coding allows employees to create software with natural-language prompts, but its spread inside large companies has raised concerns over data leakage, unvetted code and applications operating outside IT oversight. Superblocks targets that gap with tools for building governed internal applications. The startup said on May 27, 2025, that it had raised an additional $23 million from investors including Spark Capital and Kleiner Perkins, bringing total funding to $60 million.

Superblocks unveiled Superblocks 3.0 on July 28, 2026, working with Amazon Web Services to place its full platform in a dedicated, single-tenant deployment inside a customer’s AWS virtual private cloud. AI inference runs through the customer’s Amazon Bedrock account, while prompts, code and application data remain within its security boundary. The service can provision Amazon Aurora databases or S3 storage and apply existing IAM, networking, encryption and audit policies. The companies disclosed no financial terms for the arrangement.
