Yageo Uses 2026 AI Summit to Target High-End Custom AI Market
Yageo Group, a longtime specialist in passive components, has shifted toward high-end customized solutions in recent years by upgrading its product portfolio. Chairman Pierre Chen said AI-related business now accounts for 15% of revenue. The company plans to leverage Taiwan’s comprehensive AI supply chain to pursue the AI server and sensor markets, reducing its reliance on the business cycles of standardized products.
At its 2026 AI Summit, Yageo said it would participate across all AI applications and seek market leadership with comprehensive component solutions. The latest AI orders lifted its book-to-bill ratio to 1.3, meaning orders exceeded shipments by 30%. Chen also said capacity was surging across the board, but did not disclose the amount of new investment or a precise expansion timetable.
