Breez Launches Bitcoin-to-Stablecoin Payments SDK Across More Than 30 Blockchains
Breez provides Bitcoin payment infrastructure, and its SDK allows developers to embed Lightning Network capabilities in wallets and payment services. More than 75 applications have integrated the technology. The company raised $4.5 million from investors including Fulgur Ventures and Ego Death Capital in December 2022. Its new feature lowers the barrier to managing assets across multiple chains for cross-border remittances.
On June 29, 2026, Breez announced that it had added Bitcoin-to-stablecoin payments to its SDK, allowing users to send USDC or USDT directly from their Bitcoin balances to more than 30 blockchain networks. The system uses the Lightning Network, Flashnet and Boltz to automate swaps and routing. It currently supports outgoing payments only, with receiving functionality still planned.
