Kast Hires Former SEC Official Stephanie Allen to Lead Policy Communications
Kast was founded in July 2024 by former Circle senior executive Raagulan Pathy. It uses stablecoin rails to provide dollar accounts and cross-border payment services in more than 170 countries. As the company moves into heavily regulated financial services, building its ability to engage with regulators, the media and policy circles has become an important part of its global expansion.
Kast announced on April 30, 2026, that it had hired former US Securities and Exchange Commission senior adviser Stephanie Allen as head of corporate and policy communications. The company completed an $80 million Series A funding round in March at a $600 million valuation. The proceeds will fund expansion in North America, Latin America and the Middle East, as well as growth in licensing, compliance, products and talent.
