Citi Raises 2030 Global AI Market Estimate to $4.2 Trillion

Citigroup says generative AI is shifting from a race to build models toward large-scale enterprise deployment, driving concurrent growth in demand for software, cloud services and computing power. Citi's latest report raised its estimate for the global AI market in 2030 to $4.2 trillion and lifted its forecast for related capital expenditure over the same period to $8.9 trillion. The report named Anthropic as a leader in the enterprise AI market, saying its revenue growth signals faster adoption by paying corporate customers and supports Citi's simultaneous upgrades to its market-size and CapEx forecasts.
