Genesis AI Unveils Foldable General-Purpose Robot Eno

1 reports · First detected 2026-06-18 · Last active 2026-06-18

Silicon Valley embodied-intelligence startup Genesis AI is taking a non-humanoid approach to general-purpose robotics. Its first robot, Eno, replaces the familiar bipedal form with a three-section folding lift, a wheeled base and robotic manipulators. The minimalist, consumer-electronics-inspired design matters because it challenges the industry’s prevailing assumption that versatile machines must resemble people, while potentially simplifying mobility and deployment across workplaces.

Genesis AI recently unveiled Eno and said South Korean IT services company LG CNS would manufacture the robot for delivery by the end of 2026. The announcement quickly drew attention across the AI community, but the company has not disclosed pricing, order value, production volume or initial customers. The next test will be whether the folding wheeled architecture can move beyond its striking debut and demonstrate practical versatility in real operating environments.
