Naver Cloud Partners With NVIDIA to Build Global AI Factory
Naver Cloud, the cloud-computing arm of South Korea's Naver, has developed enterprise and government AI services around its proprietary large language model, HyperCLOVA X. The expanded partnership with NVIDIA will extend from computing infrastructure to models, sovereign AI and industrial applications, strengthening South Korea's position in the global AI infrastructure supply chain.
Naver Cloud recently announced that it would deploy NVIDIA's DSX platform to build an AI Factory and use Nemotron technology to enhance HyperCLOVA X. The partnership covers infrastructure, models and physical AI. As of July 20, 2026, the companies had not disclosed the investment amount, computing capacity or formal launch date. They plan to study sovereign AI and industrial AI environments.
