1 reports · First detected 2026-04-29 · Last active 2026-04-29

Supermicro supplies AI servers and data-center computing equipment. As generative AI prompts enterprises and cloud providers to expand infrastructure, server delivery capacity has become a key competitive factor. A larger Silicon Valley production base will help the company integrate research and development, manufacturing and local supply chains while supporting U.S. customers building next-generation AI factories.

Supermicro announced plans for its largest U.S. site in Silicon Valley. The new facility will span more than 714,000 square feet, increasing production capacity for AI servers and computing infrastructure while supporting U.S.-based operations from design and production through delivery. As of July 20, 2026, the company had not disclosed the investment amount, a formal opening date or the amount of additional capacity.
