OwlTing Launches Self-Custody Wallet to Bring Regulated Stablecoin Payments to AI Agents
OwlTing Group (Nasdaq: OWLS) has built stablecoin-based cross-border payment and compliant settlement infrastructure through OwlPay. As AI agents begin shopping and making payments on users’ behalf, traditional financial systems lack the wallets and authorization mechanisms needed for autonomous software transactions. McKinsey estimates the agentic commerce market could reach $3 trillion to $5 trillion by 2030, underscoring the importance of a compliant payment layer.
OwlTing launched the OwlPay Agent Wallet on May 4, 2026. Its self-custody architecture stores private keys and credentials on the user’s device, allowing AI to operate only within authorized parameters. The wallet supports the Ethereum ecosystem, Stellar and Solana, and can create addresses, send and receive stablecoins, and retrieve balances and transaction histories. The underlying payment infrastructure covers 40 U.S. states where OwlTing holds money transmitter licenses.
