Ingrasys Partners With Ramon.Space on Orbital Data Centers

As the volume of data generated in orbit grows, sending it all back to Earth can run into latency, bandwidth and power constraints. Orbital data centers address these bottlenecks by moving computing, storage and connectivity into space. Ingrasys Technology, a subsidiary of Hon Hai, began working with Ramon.Space on June 20, 2023, to manufacture space-computing products. It also participated in the company’s $26 million funding round announced on June 28 that year.

Ramon.Space announced an expanded partnership with Ingrasys Technology on March 24, 2026. The companies will combine Ramon.Space’s space-computing platform with Ingrasys’ server mass-production capabilities to build a scalable line of orbital data-center products supporting real-time data processing and AI applications. The project will begin with prototype development and testing before moving gradually toward deployment. The companies have not disclosed the value of the partnership or when the first system will go online.
