Syntec Targets AI Server Cooling and Robot Motion Control
Syntec Technology, best known for machine-tool controls and industrial automation, is extending its capabilities into AI infrastructure and humanoid robotics. Rising power density in AI servers has made leakage prevention critical for liquid-cooling systems, while humanoid robots require advanced controllers to coordinate multiple joints in real time. Syntec’s push addresses both the physical reliability of data centers and the motion-control “cerebellum” needed for increasingly sophisticated robots.
At the latest Taipei International Industrial Automation Exhibition, Syntec unveiled a conversational AI assistant designed for factory operations and a laser-welding solution intended to reduce leakage risks in AI data-center liquid-cooling systems. It also demonstrated advanced motion-control technology capable of synchronizing a dexterous robotic hand with 20 joints, marking a move into a core humanoid-robot subsystem. The company did not disclose investment amounts, customer names or a timetable for commercial production.
