Chainlink, Anchorage Digital Join Forces to Launch Crypto PAC
The Blockchain Leadership Fund is a hybrid political action committee that can donate directly to candidates and independently fund advertising. Chainlink Labs and Anchorage Digital announced on March 30, 2026, that they were founding contributors. The initiative aims to increase the industry's influence over the November 3 midterm elections and control of both chambers of Congress as lawmakers consider digital-asset legislation including the CLARITY Act.
The fund unveiled its first bipartisan slate of endorsements on May 21, 2026, backing 10 candidates: four running for the Senate and six for the House of Representatives. Federal Election Commission records showed that it had raised $175,000 at the time, including $100,000 from Anchorage Digital and $75,000 from Chainlink Labs. The fund said it could endorse additional candidates before the election.
